Ijen

Ijen (also known as Kawah Ijen, meaning "Ijen Crater") is a volcanic complex located in East Java, Indonesia. It is renowned globally for two extraordinary natural phenomena: its electric blue flames and its vivid turquoise acidic crater lake.

It is not a single volcano, but a caldera—a large depression formed by a massive volcanic eruption. Within this caldera sits the active crater that draws adventurers from around the world.
